Maha Mora Jataka in Wihara of the Reclining Buddha, Wat Pho Temple, Bangkok.
I suspect that the bas-relief of the golden feature peacock on the wall in the Wihara of the Reclining Buddha Image of Wat Pho ( Wat Pra Chetupon Temple) could be identified as some part of the Jataka of Maha Mora, narated by the Lord Buddha during his stay at the Jetuvana Temple of Savathi, India, about 2500 years BP.
HE said that once of his incarnation, he was born as the Great Golden-feature Peacock. It caused him aware of dangerous from the magnificence of himself, belong to the golden feature. So, he decided to leave from his colony to stay alone in the Himavanta Forest.
Hunters tried to catch him to be the present for the queen of Banares. The seventh hunter succeeded the job by sending a beautiful female peacock luring him to fell in love of her after a beautiful singing and dancing.
